The agreement between us.

1. Acceptance

By creating a Yahso account or using any Yahso service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service. If you use Yahso on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Who can use Yahso

• Owners: must be 18+ and own or have permission to arrange maintenance for the property.
• Providers: must be a licensed trade (where required for the jurisdiction and trade), insured, and pass Yahso's verification checks.
• Group admins: must have written authority from the community, HOA, or management firm they represent.

3. The service

Yahso is a marketplace that connects owners with independent service providers. Yahso is not the provider of the maintenance services. Providers are independent contractors, not Yahso employees. Yahso screens providers per our verification process but does not warrant the quality, safety, or legality of their work beyond what our policies cover.

4. Payment

• Subscription plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance and auto-renew until cancelled.
• Yahso subscription fees cover platform access, matching, tracking, and account tools. Service payments are arranged directly between owners and independent providers outside Yahso.
• Service disputes are governed by our Trust & Safety policy, including cancellation and reporting guidance.
• Applicable taxes are added at checkout based on your region.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use Yahso for anything illegal, harassing, or intended to defraud another user.
• Attempt to circumvent Yahso fees by taking bookings, payments, or communications off-platform for a job that was matched through Yahso.
• Post false credentials, fake reviews, or misleading business information.
• Access or attempt to access another user's account, or interfere with the operation of the service.

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, permanent account removal, and — for providers — reports to relevant licensing bodies.

6. Privacy + data

Handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Yahso you consent to the data practices described there.

7. Liability + disclaimers

Yahso is provided "as is". We do our best to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Yahso is not liable for damage or loss arising from work performed by an independent provider. To the extent permitted by law, Yahso's total liability to you for any claim is capped at the greater of $500 or the total amount you paid Yahso in subscription fees in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You can delete your account any time from Settings → Preferences. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, our Trust & Safety policy, or applicable law. On termination, obligations that survive (financial records retention, ongoing disputes, indemnities, liability limits) continue in effect.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
